The baggage policy of British Airways varies depending upon the cabin you’re traveling in and your status as a flier – latest or frequent.
All British Airways reservation customers are permitted to carry one piece of hand baggage or personal bag and one small item on board. Passengers can also carry their coat, umbrella on board. The hand baggage on flight must not exceed the permitted size of 56cm x 45cm x 25cm and the small item not be larger than the permitted size of 40cm x 30cm x 15cm.Note: Both hand baggage and personal item must not weight more than 23kg each.
If the hang baggage and personal item exceeds the permitted limit size and weight, then it can be added to their checked baggage allowance. Additional charges may apply.

Each passenger on British Airways is allowed a checked baggage, depending upon the booking; the route, fare and ticket type. The passengers of British Airways flight booking are permitted to carry the checked baggage that must not exceed 90cm x 75cm x 43cm including handles, wheels etc. The checked baggage must not be more than 23kg or 32kg depending on your route/ticket.
Please note that there are no limits applied or any additional charges for traveling with medical equipment but there are limits to the number of excess bags of medical supplies.

Report a missing bag – If your bag goes missing and you are still at the airport, passengers can approach the airlines representatives and lodge a report regarding the missing article with all the required details. If you’ve left from the airport and didn’t receive the baggage, then send an email to the airlines company and required action will be taken. Once the report has been made, it is easy to track the status using the baggage tracing system.
